Social Media Coordinator
Job Vision
The Social Media Coordinator supports the direction of Marketing and Communications by supporting the strategy and execution for all Milestone Church Social Media and related accounts. Working hand in hand with the Digital Media Coordinator, Associate Director, and other Communications team members, the Social Media Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the vision of Milestone Church through ideation, writing, scheduling, designing, and posting digital content.
Core Responsibilities
Maintain a competitive understanding of all social media platforms.
Present and adjust strategy as the environment changes so that Milestone Social Media can be as effective as possible.
Communicate the heart and vision of Milestone Church by sharing stories of life change and curating content to encourage people to take next steps.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Media Coordinator to execute weekly and special event social media deliverables.
Priority support is for the Main Milestone account but may include Milestone Church ministry or campus accounts as needed.
Support the execution of social media by creating content, copywriting, etc.
Monitor and interact on all channels, including responding to comments and direct messages daily.
Collaborate and meet regularly with designers, photographers, and videographers to curate content.
Assist with event and weekend photography and videography as assigned.
Support the Social Team and coordinate as needed during special events.
Maintain Milestone Church branding across all accounts.
Support the Design team with creative requests as needed.

Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other departments to obtain information needed to complete tasks.
Experience with Adobe Software Products.
MAC experience and basic Microsoft Office applications.
