Kids Coordinator
Job Vision
The Kids Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Milestone Kids at the McKinney Campus. This role ensures a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment for children from preschool through elementary. The Coordinator is a key leader, building and equipping volunteer teams, cultivating meaningful parent connections, and delivering weekend experiences that kids love, parents trust, and volunteers are excited to serve in.
Core Responsibilities

Weekend Environments & Ministry Execution
Create a welcoming, safe, and spiritually engaging experience for children during all weekend services.
Lead all preschool and elementary environments, ensuring excellence in ministry delivery, curriculum implementation, and team coordination.
Collaborate weekly with the Broadcast Campus and central Kids team to receive curriculum, graphics, and service materials.
Parent & Family Engagement
Foster strong relationships with families, particularly first-time guests, by providing excellent communication and follow-up.
Oversee the Milestone Kids Next Steps Class, including salvation/baptism follow-up, parent communication, teaching, and database management.
Volunteer Leadership
Recruit, train, and equip volunteer teams across all kids ministry environments.
Maintain best practices for onboarding, scheduling, and volunteer development.
Host volunteer trainings and provide consistent follow-up with new volunteer leads.
Special Events & Milestones

Coordinate and lead campus-specific events and milestones such as:
Baby Dedication
Mother’s Day
Promotion Weekend
Christmas & Easter Services
Forty5 Camp
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Administrative & Operational Duties
Ensure compliance with Milestone Kids policies, safety standards, and ministry procedures.
Maintain accurate records and processes using Rock RMS.
Manage the Preschool and Elementary budgets in collaboration with the Next Gen Director.
Coordinate supply inventory, ordering, and resource distribution to support weekend environments and special events.

Proven ability to follow and manage established systems and processes with consistency and care.
Strong organizational and administrative skills; detail-oriented and thorough.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and church management systems (e.g., Rock RMS).
Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based work.
Completion of Milestone Growth Track and active membership required.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Four-year college degree preferred.
