Job Vision

The First Impressions Coordinator creates a warm,  welcoming, and organized experience for guests and members from arrival to departure. This role leads hospitality-related volunteer teams to ensure that every person feels seen, valued, and guided while on campus.


Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Ensure a friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout the campus

  • Oversee Greeters, Hospitality, Prayer, Ushers, Facilities, and Parking & Safety teams

  • Ensure guests are acknowledged, assisted, and connected to next steps

  • Monitor campus flow, signage, and accessibility for guests of all ages

Volunteer Leadership

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and support First Impressions volunteers (Step 1, Step 2)

  • Manage volunteer onboarding and scheduling in Planning Center Online (PCO) and Rock RMS

  • Provide clear expectations and encouragement for volunteers

  • Lead pre-service huddles/check-ins as needed

  • Build a culture of excellence, kindness, and teamwork

Systems and Coordination

  • Maintain systems for volunteer follow-up and connection

  • Coordinate with other ministry areas (Next Gen, Security, Pastoral Staff)

  • Prepare weekly service needs (building, materials, name tags, signage, golf carts, etc.)

  • Evaluate and improve the guest experience through feedback and observation

Communication and Collaboration

  • Serve as point of contact with Central Facilities (PCO room scheduling for porter service, HVAC, etc.)

  • Partner with campus leadership to align with church vision

  • Communicate clearly with volunteers and staff regarding schedules and needs

  • Support holidays, special events, and high-attendance services

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.

  • Driven to find solutions that meet complex needs. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a heart for serving people. 

  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems.

Education and Experience

  • Related work experience of 3+ years.

  • A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
