Job Vision

The Connections Coordinator plays a vital role in creating an engaging and seamless experience for guests and members at Milestone Church’s Argyle Campus. This part-time role focuses on coordinating the weekend guest experience, following up with guests, and supporting the volunteer teams that help people connect and take next steps in their spiritual journey.

Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Follow-Up

  • Own and coordinate the Plan Your Visit (PYV) process, including proactive communication with scheduled guests and coordination with relevant teams (i.e. Kids, Check-In).

  • Own all connection cards coming in; ensuring proper data entry and appropriate follow-up. (Decisions, Next Steps, Prayer Request, Comments). 

  • Execute personal and timely follow-up with guests through email, text, phone calls, and handwritten notes based on our campus guest follow-up process.

  • Communicate Discovery 101 information and ensure accurate handoff to relevant staff or teams.

  • Attend and support weekend services regularly as part of the campus team, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.

  • Provide primary ownership and accountability in the budget process for the Connections budget.. 

Volunteer Team Building & Development

  • Recruit, develop, and lead Guest Experience volunteer teams including: Info Desk Team, Guest Team, and Admin Team (Connect Cards).

  • Onboard and equip volunteers, maintain regular communication, and foster strong team culture.

  • Ensure each volunteer understands the spiritual significance of their role and how it contributes to the church's mission.

  • Ensure volunteers are scheduled, resourced, and empowered to serve with excellence.

Traits of a Great Candidate

  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams across key campus areas.

  • Spiritually mature and aligned with Milestone Church’s mission, values, and leadership culture.

  • Proven leadership experience in a ministry or organizational setting.

  • Proven ability to follow and manage established systems and processes with consistency and care.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; detail-oriented and thorough.

  • Clear and professional communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and church management systems (e.g., Rock RMS).

  • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based work.

  • Comfortable with digital platforms.

  • Completion of Milestone Growth Track and active membership required.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • 2–4 years of ministry, administrative, or coordination experience.

  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
